Abstract
|
|
|
Vertigo or dizziness may be originated from lesions in the cerebrum, cerebellum, brain stem, spinal cord,vestibular nerve, the eyes and the ears, affecting the vestibular system directly or indirectly.
It may be infectious, neopl astic, traumatic, vascular, degenerative, endocrine, metabolic, hematologic, toxic or psychogenic.
Treatment of vertigo or dizziness is, therefore, to remove those causative factors together with symptomatic treatement.
